On a Sunday, not very busy and just before the brunch ended. We got a breakfast burrito and a double double burger. My burrito was phenomenal, and every bite I could taste how fresh the ingredients were!. It has eggs, sausage, onions, black beans, corn and queso. With pico, and sour cream on the side. The burger was so juicy and we were hesitant to order because some burgers are served way over sized, but this was the perfect size, with 2 -3oz patties and cheese in the middle! Yes the cheese in the middle of the patties knocks this one out of the park! After the first bite, that burger was gone ! Sorry we didn't get better pics, the food was just too good. We only stopped here because other places we looked at were over crowded and this one luckily wasn't ! We drive by this almost every weekend but are now going to stop more often ! Come out and say Hi to one of the best crews in the cities at Yankee Tavern!!
Was good. Service was good. Waitress was very helpful. I had a 4 piece chicken. Chicken breast was huge! GF had a pick 2 combo with the steak sandwich
I ate with 3 people. My wife and son. His birthday so he recieved a complimentary dessert. My Chicago style smoked brisket with giadeniera and cheese with au jiu was better than in Chicago. The smoked brisket was to die for! Smashed potatoes with sour creme were good. The au jiu was delicious also. We had appetizers (chips with queso dip), drinks were a cab, 3 Heffin-Weizen's, and a Mule...and the complimentary Apple Crisp. cost was $114.58 plus tip. The service was great! Matty was a great server, gregarious and upbeat. And another gentleman walked around making sure our table was free of empty dishes and what not. We WILL be back!
We randomly stopped into this little tavern after an afternoon of shopping and we were so pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious...those steak fries were unique...like very thick-cut potato chips and my fish was excellent and super flaky. The chicken sandwich was good too, and we even won a prize from the meat raffle!
We stopped on the way home from the airport. We'll worth the effort. Excellent service and good food.
We will be back. Fun find for lunch date. Great menu. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Great cocktail menu. Loved my mule. The street tacos and shrimp tacos were amazing!! I loved the lighting and atmosphere.
After driving by for so many years, we stopped in for dinner and tried their Saturday steak special. The steak was so flavorful and tender. The staff were kind and knowledgeable of the food and drinks. I am so sad that we spent so many years driving past and missing out on such a fantastic place. I definitely recommend stopping in and trying their food. Can't wait to go back.
This place has a great homey feel. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food has that Americana comfort food feel and everything was delicious! I hade a chicken and cucumber sandwich with fries and it was amazing. The fries were cooked perfectly crispy. My dinner partner had a BLT and white bean chicken chili which were both wonderful. We even won some steaks from the meat raffle! We loved this place!
Stopped in for lunch today for the first time and it was great! Had the Friday fish fry special and it was very good. Very friendly and attentive staff which definitely earned the fifth star! I will most definitely be back.
Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Loved the smash burger, and peach cobbler with ice cream! Highly recommended!
